Memorial services for Ellen Louise Varnum, 49, of Donalsonville, were held Monday, Feb. 1, at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Damascus with the Rev. Buren Womble officiating.

Born in Donalsonville, Ga., on Nov. 30, 1960, Mrs. Varnum died on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

Mrs. Varnum was a homemaker.

Survivors include her mother, Pat Ferguson of Columbia, Ala.; her husband, Ronnie Varnum of Donalsonville, Ga.; her grandmother, Bessie Baker of Columbia, Ala.; two brothers, Maurice Wessinger and Kenneth Wessinger; one sister, Cathy Oakley; a sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
