Funeral services for Gene Butler, 87, of Bainbridge were held Thursday, Nov. 19, at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Adolph Noble officiating.

Interment followed in Pineview Cemetery with John Lee Beard, Terry Lewis Sr., Danny Malone, Jeffrey March and Kelvin March serving as active pallbearers.

Survivors include his wife, Sister Rosa Lee Butler; his mother-in-law, 11 sisters-in-law, nine brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
