Ascension Yzaguirre

Funeral services for Ascension Yzaguirre, 71, of Bainbridge were held Sunday, Sept. 13, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with President Ryan Cleveland officiating.

Interment followed in Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rene Yzaguirre, John Childree, Grady Webb and Ricky Prater serving as active pallbearers.
Born May 29, 1938, in Los Fresnos, Texas, Mrs. Yzaguirre died on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Yzaguirre was a caregiver and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She moved to this area nine years ago from Washington, D.C. She had previously lived in Cairo, Egypt. Mrs. Yzaguirre loved to crochet, read and being a homemaker.

Survivor include three daughters, Victoria Yzaguirre Harrell of Donalsonville; Yolanda Deimes Yzaguirre of Houston, Texas, and Esmeralda Deimes Yzaguirre of Fort Worth, Texas; three sons, Rudy Justice of Woodland, Texas, and Rene Deimes Yzaguirre and Reymundo Deimes Yzaguirre, both of Conroe, Texas; one sister, Josephina Deimes Campos of Brownsville, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
