Joseph Marion (JM) Parramore

Joseph Marion (JM) Parramore, 89, of Quincy, Fla., went home to be with his heavenly Father on August 18, 2016.  The sun rose on J.M., May 25, 1927 and set on August 18, 2016.  J.M. was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Mavis. He is survived by one son, Joseph S. Parramore, son-in-law Jerry Swank of Quincy, one daughter, Sibyl Parramore of Marianna, one grandson, Hunter Hodges, one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Erica and Chris Barnes and five great-grandchildren.

J.M. Parramore was a member of the Santa Clara Baptist Church of Quincy, Florida, and was a retired local farmer and retired from Engelhard Mineral and Chemicals of Attapulgus, GA.

Family will receive family and friends Friday, August 26, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m.. at the Independent Funeral Home, 211 E. Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida, with the graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 10 a.m., the Rev. Howard Adams officiating.
