Carol Jones Culverson

Carol Jones Culverson, age 55, of Donalsonville, Ga. passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at her residence.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Garth Duke-Barton officiating.  Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer c/o Lucy Thomas PO Box 616 Donalsonville, GA 39845.

Ms. Culverson was born in Toccoa, Ga. on October 12, 1960, to Billy Jones and Wilma Odom Jones.  She graduated Seminole County High School in 1978, where she was a member of the Seminole County Green Machine Marching Band, participating as a majorette.  Carol was active in civic affairs, having helped to plan and carry out the Seminole County Harvest Festival Parade for many years. She was a licensed cosmetologist and of the Baptist faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Cole Culverson (Leandra Kelley) of Eldorendo, Ga; her father, Billy Jones(Nellie Jo) of Donalsonville, Ga.; and two brothers, Bubba Jones (Joye) of Attapulgus and Glenn Jones (Brenda) of Donalsonville.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Leigh Green (David) of Valdosta, Ga., Ashley Perez (Kenny) of Albany, Ga., Haley Logue (Randy) of Bainbridge, Ga., Buck Jones (Whitney) of Iron City, Ga.; as well as great nephews, Davis Green, Ryan Logue, Caleb Logue, Jackson Jones, and Jhett Jones.

Ms. Culverson was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Jones.
