Charles H. Priest, 70, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Monday, May 16, 2016.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Oak City Cemetery with Rev. Art Bruce officiating.

Mr. Priest was born November 30, 1945 in Bainbridge, the son of Lucius Hancel Priest and Alva Nix Priest. He loved to spend his time fishing and playing golf in his younger years, but had a passion for Georgia Bulldogs and college football. Mr. Priest served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Collins of Bainbridge; his nephews, Michael G. Collins, Mark D. Collins, Gary L. Collins, Danny L. Priest, and Christopher L. Priest; and his sister-in-law, Terrie Gainey Priest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Andrews and Danny Priest.
