Mrs. Brock was born September 16, 1930 in Hinson, Florida, the daughter of Roy Woodward and Lavada Cooper Woodward. She graduated from Bainbridge High School. She married Aubrey Brock and raised her family in Decatur County. Ophelia served her community as Clerk for Decatur County for 50 years before her retirement.

Ophelia was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her church and the families and friends she became close to through the church. She was famous for her homecooking and no one could cook a better eye of the round roast. Ophelia had a green thumb, keeping a neatly landscaped yard that bloomed not only with beautiful flowers but with friendship.

Survivors include her children, Danny Brock and his wife, Susan, of Valdosta, Lloyd Brock and Leslie Brock, both of Bainbridge; her sisters, Tina Sowell of Panama City, Florida and Betty Smith of Alto Pass, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jacey Pittman, Camille Lewis, Alaina Lewis, Susanna Godwin, Aubrey Brock, Drew Kelley, and Allison Kelley; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Brock; her siblings, Irene Dixon, Gerald Woodward, John Woodward, and Lester Woodward; and her granddaughter, Hillary Brock.
