Mr. Bryan was born on May 26, 1941, in Bainbridge, to the late David T. Bryan, Sr. and Carolyn Powell Bryan. “BB”, as he was affectionately known to his grandchildren, was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Presbyterian College. He also served his country in the National Guard. On August 5, 2000, he and Gail Ulmer Bryan were married and have enjoyed watching their family grow over the past 15 years. BB’s grandchildren always knew he would give them a full bowl of ice cream whenever they wanted it. He could always entertain them with one of his silly rhymes. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved the beach. Those who knew and loved him will always remember him for his quick wit and kind, gentle spirit. Bill spent the majority of his professional career as the owner of Callahan Builder Mart and in recent years as the owner and broker of Flint River Realty in Bainbridge. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge.
