Theo D. Paul, 89, of Bainbridge, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

A private graveside funeral service will be held at Oak City Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill McCamon officiating.

Mr. Paul was born May 24, 1924, in Arlington, Ga., the son of Pearlie Sydney Paul and Dolie Wilkerson Paul. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Paul was a pipe fitter and a member of Local Union #72. He attended the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nina Pearl Palmer Paul; his son, Jimmy Paul; and his granddaughter, Betty Sue West.

Survivors include his sons, Billy Paul of Jacksonville, Fla., Don Paul of Bainbridge; his daughters, Betty Hutto of Bainbridge, and Sue Gray of Bainbridge; his sister, Sarah Odom of Dawson, Ga.; his eight grandchildren; his nine great-grandchildren; and his four great-great grandchildren.
