Nancy Rowan Nutting, 71, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Edmunds officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nutting was born March 7, 1941 in Donalsonville, the daughter of David Lafayette Rowan and Thelma Laverne Nix Rowan. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1960, and was the bookkeeper for George Nutting Company, Inc. Mrs. Nutting was a homemaker and foster parent for many years.

Mrs. Nutting was preceded in death by her sons, George D. Nutting and Robert J. Nutting; her brother, David Rowan; and her sister, Mary Ann Boyd.

Survivors include her husband, George K. Nutting of Bainbridge; her brothers, Marvin Willis of Cairo, Johnny Willis of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jody Logue of Bainbridge; and her sisters, Carolyn Lane, Janie Glass and Sandra Moore, all of Bainbridge.
