Pamela W. Battles, 56, of Bainbridge, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. There will be a private graveside service held at Oak City Cemetery.

Pam was born Dec. 20, 1955, in Bainbridge. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1974, and a member of the Albany Ladies of Nasah.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Wimberly.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Frank Battles of Bainbridge; her children, Tiffanie Gibson and her husband, Jared, of Moultrie, Ga., Heather Battles of Huntsville, Ala., Matthew Battles and his wife, Mindy, of Smithville, Ga., Amber Owens and her fiancé, Earl, of Bainbridge, and Joshua Battles of Bainbridge; her mother, Doris Wimberly Taylor and her husband, Dan, of Bainbridge; her sisters, Lisa Ponder of Bainbridge, and Carla Smith of Bainbridge; her five grandchildren, Tyler Sumner, Gabe Gibson, Jayden Brown, Brett Battles, and Riley Brown; and her grandmother, Genita Bryant of Lakeland, Fla.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
