Mrs. Nimmo, 88, of Huntsville, Ala., passed away peacefully at her residence Thursday, Oct. 11.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Nimmo was a British War Bride. She loved to travel, particularly to her native England, but her greatest enjoyment was being with her family. She was married to the late Harry Nimmo in 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harry, her mother, Lucy Medway, and brother, Terry Lee.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Ardizzone and husband Rick, and Valerie Jones and husband Patrick; one son, Scott Nimmo; three grandchildren, Remy Ardizzone and husband Roy Rawlings, Ryne Nimmo and Darby Jones; great granddaughter, Riley Rawlings; and niece, Veronica Irons and husband Dave.

The Graveside Service will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens, with Rev. Jim Stringfellow officiating. The visitation will be Sunday from 2:30 p.m. till 3:30 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ala.
