Mr. Don Roberts, 77, of Colquitt died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at New Home Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Talmadge Worsley and Matt Bracewell officiating. Interment will follow at Primitive Union Cemetery with Donny Roland, Alan Roland, Steven Middleton, Jeremy Middleton, Grant Easom and Tim Cook serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, May 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mr. Don was a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon for many years. He is a retired truck driver with Quality Applicators in Colquitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edd and Claudia Danielle’s Flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude W. Roberts of Colquitt; two daughters, Debra (Steve) Middleton of Colquitt and Pam (John) Easom of  Iron City; grandchildren, Donny Roland, Anna Warren, Alan Roland, Steven (Kristin) Middleton, Jeremy Middleton, Matt (Briana) Bracewell, Claire Bracewell, Brittany Easom, Grant Easom; and 9 Great-Grandchildren; one brother Eddie Roberts of Colquitt; one sister Yvonne Cook of Bainbridge; and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Colquitt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
