Funeral services for Harry F. Cobb, 64, of Edison, Ga., will be held on Tuesday, April 5, at 3 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with the Revs. Charles Dennis and Kirk Loyless officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening, April 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Mr. Cobb was born May 14, 1946, in Donalsonville, to the late Byron Carson and Mildred Evelyn Croom Cobb.

He died Friday, April 11, at Crisp Regional Medical Center in Cordele, Ga.

He graduated from Seminole County High School and from the University of Georgia. Mr. Cobb was an Eagle Scout and while attending UGA he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. He also served as the scout master in Seminole County for Troop 711, succeeding Tim Williams. Mr. Cobb was a life-time farmer and farm manager and had taught agriculture in school systems in Folkston, Statesboro and Greensboro, Ga., and was currently teaching in Edison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis Cobb; and a sister, Amelia Ann Cobb.

Survivors include two sons, Eric Cobb of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Jamie Cobb of Woodstock, Ga.; one brother, Lamar Cobb of Donalsonville; one sister, Bobbie McKeller of Athens, Ga.; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
