A list of holiday closings

City of Bainbridge closings

All non-emergency City of Bainbridge offices will be closed on Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday.  Offices will also be closed on Friday, December 30 for the New Year’s holiday.

Because of the holiday on December 26, trash pickup will be pushed back a day.  Those residences who regularly scheduled for Monday will have their garbage collected on Tuesday, December 27 while those regularly scheduled for Tuesday will have theirs picked up on Wednesday, December 28.

However, because of the large amount of trash accumulated over the holiday, dumpsters will be set up at Bainbridge Public Safety on Shotwell Street as well as the Public Services Department on Pierce Street until Tuesday, December 27 for anyone needing to use them.

The number for the landfill is (229) 465-3188 and more info is available at www.decaturcountyga.org/Landfill.php
