James Madison never envisioned federal and state governments that would allow employee unions (who are paid with taxpayer money) not having to answer to the taxpayers. How did this employee union power over our lives concept using taxpayers money ever get into our thinking?

Was it from our schools, colleges and liberal universities? Our elected representatives? Who did they get this kind of thinking from?

It is a break from our founding principle and constitutional limitations. These powerful federal union employees are part of a mostly unaccountable federal government. Our federal government is the United States largest creditor, debtor, lender, employer, consumer, contractor, grantor, property owner, tenant, insurer, health care provider and pension guarantor!

Wow! It takes more and more taxpayers’ money to pay for this growing monster of a federal government! Too many voters are addicted to government handouts. Too many voters expect the government to take care of them. This is the why and the what for so many vote Democrat again and again.

The 10th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.” The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

James Madison, the father and primary author of our Constitution, explained it this way in the Federalist (No. 45):

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.”

We people (especially the taxpaying people) it is our Constitution! Learn it! Love it! Live it!
