The annual Bainbridge-Decatur County Fair is almost here—your entire family is sure to enjoy the heart-pounding midway rides, games and great carnival food. Pick up your tickets early and save!
The Fair starts on Tuesday, Nov. 1 and continues through Saturday, Nov. 5. Gates open at 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. On Saturday, gates open at 4 p.m. so families with young children can come early. Small children (and most adults) will enjoy the Little People’s Petting Zoo, crafts by the Southwest Georgia Library and more.

New to the fair this year is a 4-H Archery Tournament for kids in grades 4-12, in which prizes will be awarded. The Adult Archery Tournament will be held Thursday. On Wednesday, several Christian bands will perform, including Counted Cost and praise bands from Grace Church, Bainbridge Church of God and Fellowship Baptist. John Woodrum will be the guest speaker in conjunction with the concert.
“We all have memories of our childhood and the annual fair is one of them,” said Matt Palmer, Chairman of the Chamber’s Fair Committee. “From the smell of the carnival food, to the lights and sounds of the thrilling rides, the Decatur County Fair has been making memories for families for years!”
Buy your tickets now and save! Pre-sale admission tickets are $4 (Ages 3 and under are free). Pre-sale unlimited ride armbands are $12.
Pre-sale admission tickets are available through Monday, Oct. 31 at Bainbridge Pharmacy, Bank of the Ozarks, Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureau, Family Bank, First National Bank, First Port City Bank – Main and Branch, First State Bank, Health Products & Yogurt Too, Live 101.9, Memorial Hospital & Manor, PeoplesSouth Bank, Port City Family Dental, Post Searchlight, Regions Bank.
At the gate, one-day tickets are $5. Armbands allowing unlimited rides on Tuesday and Wednesday are $14. Armbands for unlimited rides on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are $16 each.
