The Bainbridge-Decatur County United Way is seeking funding requests for next year. Applications must be post marked by May 15, or the application may be hand delivered to Keri Reynolds at Family Bank, located at 800 E. College St., Bainbridge. The mailing address for applications is P.O. Box 1805, Bainbridge, GA 39818. A United Way admissions and allocations committee of four or five trained volunteers will scrutinize the applications and evaluate the need of each agency. An interview will take place in June and the applicants will be named later this year. From that time, the United Way will begin another year of is fund-raising in order to fully fund the deserving agencies.
