When Amanda Ashton lost her daughter, Audrey Lynn Finuff, in a car accident in 2011, the tragedy wasn’t helped by the fact that she died just before her birthday. Wanting to find some way to honor her daughter’s memory, Ashton would eventually set up a toy run with the Bainbridge chapter of the Remaining Few Motorcycle Club in 2021. For the first few years, the club would collect toys and donate them to EMS for any children in their care. But this year, the club donated the toys to Memorial Hospital and Manor’s Emergency Department.
Hundreds of toys were donated, some donated by local Remaining Few members, while other motorcycle clubs also contributed.
“We do it for Audrey’s memory,” Ashton said. “April’s a tough time for us. We don’t get to celebrate birthdays with her, so this is how we celebrate her.”
