SwimCats have great day at Mid-Week Meet

The SwimCats placed fourth at the Thomasville Mid-week meet on Dec. 18. According to Coaches Chambers, Durham and Conner, the cold weather made it difficult to compete yet the swimmers set many person bests or maintained their times.
For the Swim Cats, Joe Emmons placed 7th in the 200 free, Josh Fillingame placed 10th in the 200 I.M. and 6th in the 100 butterfly, Blake Lowe placed 7th in the 50 free and 5th in the 500 free, Hayden Martin placed 7th in the 100 breaststroke, Griffin Perkins placed 7th in the 200 IM and 4th in the 100 butterfly, and Dax Willis placed 9th in the 100 back and 9th in the 100 great.
In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of Dax Willis, Griffin Perkins, Hayden Martin, and Blake Lowe placed 3rd. In the 200 free relay, the team of Joe Emmons, Dax Willis, Hayden Martin, and Griffin Perkins placed 4th; and the team of Brenden Mitchell, Jonathan Farrington, Tom Emmons, and Josh Fillingame placed 10th. In the 400 free relay, the team of Joe Emmons, Hayden Martin, Josh Fillingame and Blake Lowe placed forth, and the team of Brenden Mitchell, Garrett Sigman, Donye Mills, and Tom Emmons placed 7th.
For the Lady SwimCats, Sandy Baker placed 6th in the 100 fly and 6th in the 100 back, Maloree Inflow placed 8th in the 200 IM and 7th in the 100 breast, Paige Overman placed 4th in the 200 IM and 2nd in the 500 free, Ramsey Matthews placed 5th in the 200 free and 5th in the 100 back, Madison Mills placed 8th in the 50 free and 9th in the 100 free, and Alex Riche placed 8th in the 100 butterfly.
In the 200 medley relay, the team of Ramsey Mathews, Paige Overman, Sandy Baker, and Madison Mills placed forth, and the team of SarahGrace Ferrell, Maloree Inlow, Alex Riche, and Kaitlyn Bennet placed 7th. In the 200 free relay, the team of Ramsey Mathews, Paige Overman, Sandy Baker and Madison Mills placed 4th, and the team of Maloree Inlow, Jaycee Maxwell, Alext Riche, and Kaitlyn Bennet placed 7th.
In the 400 free relay, the team of Jacee Maxwell, Rynal Bland, SarahGrace Ferrell and Alex Riche placed 4th.
