Bainbridge Public Safety Citizens Academy participants will be introduced to all aspects of the Bainbridge Public Safety Department including fire, patrol, and investigations in both classroom and active hands-on settings.

The Academy consists of 5 sessions, and will meet on Thursday nights beginning on September 5th. Each session will be 2 hours in length, from 6pm until 8pm.  During the Academy, participants will be given the opportunity to participate in a “Ride-along” with a uniformed patrol officer.  Graduation will take place on Thursday, October 10. 

Class size is limited, and persons must be 21 years old or older to participate.  To register, stop by Public Safety Headquarters at 510 E. There is no cost to attend the BPS Citizens Academy.
