Jerry and Lisa McLendon, of Cordele, Ga. are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Alexandra Louise McLendon to Keith Wayne Melcher. He is the son of Donald and Denise Melcher of Arabi, Ga.

Miss McLendon is the granddaughter of the late Milton and Louise Scott of Brinson, Ga. and the late Rabon and Sadie McLendon of Colquitt, Ga. She is a 2012 graduate of Grace Christian Academy, and graduated from ABAC of Tifton, Ga. in 2018 with a degree in Registered Nursing. She is currently employed as the Director of Nursing at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Robert and Marilyn Worley of Arabi, Ga., Madeline ‘Pat’ Jacobs of Cordele, Ga. and Donald Melcher of Aiken, S.C. He is a graduate of Crisp County High School and graduated from ABAC in Tifton, Ga. in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Diversified Agriculture. He is currently employed with Lime Creek Farms.

The wedding is set for October 26, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents in Cordele, Ga. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
