Coach Lewis said his team was moved up to the silver bracket after the Colquitt County game because they were the only team to score on them. In their third tournament game and first silver bracket game the Lady Cats edged the Seminole County Middle School eighth grade Lady Indians 5-4.

In the tournament championship game the Lady Cats downed Southland Academy of Americus 11-5.

“Against Southland we exploded for seven unearned runs in the fourth inning,” coach Lewis said. “Every one of the 13 players we brought to the tournament played at least two games and started two games. We just got a great effort from all of our young ladies.”

Bainbridge Middle School Lady Cats team members were Keyleigh Brinson, Anna Beth Bibby, Carmen Follingame, Renee Fillingame, MacKenzie Thomas, Lexie Delbert, Callie Strickland, Allie Grace Fitzgerald, Carlie Maxwell, Bailey Hall, Isabella Hodges and Carson Brown.
