The Bearcat tennis team headed to a neutral site in Columbus for a Final Four match against Marist School in Atlanta with high hopes, but fell 0-3 after a hard fought afternoon against the War Eagles.

Nour Hason fell 0-2 at No. 2 doubles, No. 1 doubles with Mark Loeffler and Jack Reynolds fell 1-6, 0-6, and No. 2 doubles with Bryce Howell and Gavin Allbriton lost 2-3.

Hema Hason at No. 1 singles and Jones Gossett at No. 3 doubles did not finish.

Monday, the Bearcats defeated West Laurens High School 3-1 at the BHS courts to enter the Final Four round.

Marist School will play St. Pius in the championship match in Jonesboro Saturday.
