Rendi Harrison, a Potter Street Elementary student, was given a cabbage seedling in April to grow from Bonnie Plant Farms. After caring for and nurturing it for several weeks, her efforts paid off. She grew a 15-pound cabbage, which is being entered into the state contest for a chance to win $1,000 scholarship.
