Brenda Mobley and Tyrone Gibson are announcing their engagement and impending marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Shirley A. Scott, of Bainbridge, and the late Sam Scott Sr.

Miss Mobley is a graduate of Bainbridge High School and a current student at Liberty University. She is employed as a Quality Control Tech by John B. Sanfilippo.

The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. John Gibson Sr., of Attapulgus, and the late Mrs. Annie M. Gibson.

Mr. Gibson is a Bainbridge High School graduate and is now attending Liberty University in pursuit of his degree in criminal justice. He is presently employed by John B. Sanfilippo.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 8, at the gazebo in Willis Park. In case of inclement weather, the wedding and reception will take place at the Charles H. Kirbo Center of Bainbridge College, by invitation only.
