Bainbridge Middle homecoming Thursday

It’s homecoming week at Bainbridge Middle School.

The homecoming queen and maid of honor will be announced during halftime of Thursday’s 5 p.m. homecoming game between the Bainbridge Middle School eighth-grade Bearcats and Thomas County Central Middle School eighth-grade Yellow Jackets at Centennial Field.

Bainbridge Middle School Principal Marvin Thomas will crown the queen during halftime of Thursday’s game. Earlier in the day, at 2:30 p.m., there will be a pep rally at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum on campus.

The queen and maid of honor, selected by a vote of the student body, will be chosen from among six eighth-grade attendants: Taylor Austin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael B. Austin; Aliyah Pernese Jacobs, daughter of McKinley and Vera Strong; Kaitlyn Williams, daughter of Earnest and LaShana Williams; Hannah Bius, daughter of Martin and Denise Bius; Haley Chandler, daughter of Lawson and Perry Chandler, and Kemyatta C. Jones, daughter of Monroe and Renita C. Jones Sr.

Seventh-grade attendants are Summer Kirkland, daughter of Wade and Nicole Kirkland; Andrecia Jackson, daughter of Andre and Shasta Jackson; Maegan Harrison, daughter of Stanley and Kristy Harrison; Shekeria Moye, daughter of Shemekia Moye; Hadley Barthel, daughter of Josephine Hadley and Samuel Barthel; Jenni Barber, daughter of Tony and Kaye Barber; Terra Faison, daughter of Willie and Linda Faison, and Haley Green, daughter of Don and Carrie Green.
