Diane D. Martin of Lawrenceville, Ga., formerly of Bainbridge, and Ronnie Martin of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin “Cricket” Martin of Longview, Texas, to Bryan S. Glover of Iuka, Miss.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frances B. Duvall of Stone Mountain, Ga., and the late Dr. L. Don Duvall, and of Mary Jo and Wesley Martin, both deceased.

Miss Martin graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2000 and from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a major in animal science. She now works as a sales representative for TW Medical, a veterinary pharmaceuticals company.

The groom-to-be is the son of Sue Glover of Iuka, Miss., and Bryan P. Glover of Moselle, Miss. He is the grandson of Tulon Rast of Iuka, the late Alice Rast, and of the late Constance and John Glover.

He is a 1998 graduate of Grenada High School and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003 with a degree in coaching and sports administration. He is employed as a branch manager of Haverty Furniture Company in Longview, Texas.

The wedding is planned for April 9 at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Ga. The reception will follow at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse. Invitations will be sent.
