Miss Rodriguez to wed Mr. Dowdy

ENGAGED: Ali Rodriguez and Dustin Dowdy

Kathleen and Chris Rodriguez of Tampa, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ali Rodriguez of Bainbridge, to Dustin Dowdy, also of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anne Fuller of Oviedo, Fla., Osceola Rodriguez of Tampa, Jack Fuller and Marge Fuller of Oviedo and the late Frank Rodriguez.

She is a 2006 graduate of the Master’s Academy and of Florida State University in 2010, with a degree in family and child sciences. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall. She is employed at Bainbridge Pharmacy.

The groom-elect is the son of Kevin and Janet Dowdy of Bainbridge and the grandson of the Rev. Jimmy L. and Barbara Dowdy of Valdosta, Ga., and the late Clinton and Ruth Zipperer.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2003 and from Florida State University in 2008 with a double major in political science and social science. He received a master’s in public administration in 2010 from Valdosta State University.

He is employed as the director of planning and special projects for the City of Bainbridge.

The wedding is planned for March 26 at Alcyone Plantation in Lake Park, Ga., at 6 p.m. The reception will be held in the same location. Invitations will be sent.
