Edward Alto Strickland, Jr. was born August 16, 1952, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Edward Sr. & Betty Parnell Strickland. He attended Bainbridge High School. Bo retired from Strickly Clean. He was a man of strong faith and member of West Street Baptist Church.
Bo was the troubleshooter of the family. He had a keen sense of “something is just not right” with most things and often found a creative way to remedy the issue. He had quite a sense of humor and took every opportunity to pick on those he loved most. Sometimes family and friends wondered if Bo remembered EVERYTHING because long forgotten details would surface at random moments.
Bo strongly believed in the value of family and close friends. He instilled this value in his children and grandchildren expecting them to always be there for one another. Memories of Bo will no doubt involve family gatherings and fun times with a few hunting and fishing stories peppered in.
Survivors include his children, Tray Stickland of Nashville, TN, Wayne & Ashley Strickland of Bainbridge, Jaime & Randall Kelly of Brinson, and Shayne Morris of Muscadine, AL; his grandchildren, Bethany & Joey, Miranda, Lake, Hunter, Katelyn & Johnny, Matthew & Lilly, and Lance & Allison; his great-grandchildren, Bentley, Jackson, Amerison, Isabelle, Hadley, Aubri, Jaxon, and Kason; and his siblings, Katie Decker, Susan Lane, John & Diane Strickland, and Robert & Lyn Strickland. In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his sisters, Darlene West and Betty Jane Jones.
