Rose Wimberely White, age 58, passed away on June 23, 2024, in Brinson, Georgia. Services for Ms. White will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Rose Wimberely White was born on March 6, 1966, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and grew up in Bainbridge/Brinson, Georgia.  Her parents, James Edward Wimberely and Gay Marine Morris Spooner, have preceded her in death.  Rose loved to travel and never met a stranger. She was a long-haul truck driver.  She could drive and has driven every type of semi.  She was an excellent driver or at least that is what she would tell you.   Rose loved to fly kites and play Frisbee.   She loved Coca Cola and powdered donuts. Her smile and friendly nature will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Ms. White is survived by her sons, William Casey White (Amber) of Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, Preston Tanner White (Keirriyah) of Quitman, Georgia, and Austin Jacob White (Harlie) of Quitman.  She is also survived by her grandsons, William Owen White and Henry Jacob White as well as her sister, Loria Carter (David) of Bainbridge. Rose is also survived by her faithful companion and furry friend, Buddy.
