Members of the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce gathered at the Bainbridge Country Club last Thursday for this month’s Chamber Connect Luncheon. The meal for the day consisted of hamburgers and hot dogs with potato chips, following a summer picnic theme, with watermelon for dessert.

Chamber President Karen Tobin briefly spoke about the revival of the Chamber’s ambassador program.

“While the ambassador program may not be novel to the realm of Chamber initiatives,” Tobin said, “it’s reintroduction after a long absence necessitates innovation.” She elaborated that the program’s committee chair, Ciel Warr, plans to “infuse the program with modern technologies and communication strategies to maximize it’s effectiveness in today’s business market.”

They are: Linda Barineau, Jennifer Britt, Dana Bryant, Landon Bryant, Marquita Downey, Randee Eubanks, Sabrina Florence, Ainsely Holden, Boone Kennedy, Linda King, Keith Lyle Jr., Nicole Maxwell, Michael Mills, Sutton Reese, and Hannah Whittaker.

Following the Chamber news, Rick Pearce Jr., and Angie Carnahan briefly spoke about the Bainbridge Country Club. As usual, the lunch meeting concluded with door prizes.
