Theresa Ann Saylor, age 70, passed away on April 4, 2024, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Ms. Saylor will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home.  Rev. Ryan Carnes will officiate.

Theresa Ann Saylor was born August 12, 1953 in Climax, Georgia. The daughter of Willie and Betty Jo Hall, she later made a home in Bainbridge where she began her family and raised her children.  She lived with grace, dignity, integrity, and much courage from beating many battles in her life including breast cancer to then be diagnosed with glioblastoma. She lived everyday with the impression of another day given is another day worth living.  Nanny was someone that had to grow on you, but once she did, you never wanted to be without her. Some would say she’s a neat freak.  She’d say she just likes a clean house. She was a lady of very many talents, from getting a stain out of just about anything to growing the prettiest of plants to rolling all ones in a good game of dice. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from her during her time here on earth. Among those, she taught us to always stay true to one another and never give up even on the hardest days. Nanny was a light in our lives that will now forever be dimmed. Her work here on earth is done, and she’s on to her next house to clean.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina (Bobby) Rhoades of Bainbridge; her grandchildren,  Brittany (Cody) Toliver,  Zackery Poole,  Kasey Poole, Brandon (Madison) Hurley, all of Bainbridge, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Christian,  Calleigh,  Kayden, Colby, and Jackson. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Hall (Sheree) of Bainbridge. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased in death by her oldest son, Robert Holt, youngest son, Michael Holt, and her brother, Bobby Hall.
