Stan was the man always looking for a bargain. Family and friends chuckled knowing it was all about the deal. Since he never threw anything away, Stan could always come up with the story behind the sale. Life was simple. It revolved around family, especially his children and grandchildren. Stan enjoyed sunsets at Mexico Beach, Spring Creek, and riding dirt roads in the golf cart. He was a man of his word and lived out his faith as an example to others.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Dale Griffin; his children, Liza Register (Hayden) of Thomasville, Ellis Griffin (Savannah) of Thomasville, Sieara McCann  (Travis) of Bainbridge, and Shea Miller (Garrett) of Donalsonville; his son-in-law, Wes Barwick of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Dawson, Ella, Luke, Carson, Holden, Baylee, Heaven, Aaron, Caleb, Malonia, Eathan, Haiden, Charity, Avery, Carter, and Layton; his great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Kane; his bonus great-grandchild, Addie Mae; his siblings, Barbara Durrance of Sun City, FL and Pat Smith of Jacksonville, FL; his sister-in-law, Doris Griffin of Bainbridge; his canine companions, Gem & Minnie; and a host of extended family.
