Jeffery Alan Weaver, age 58, of Donalsonville, Ga., passed away Friday morning, March 1, 2024, at his residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Evangelist Samantha Lightfoot of Christ Tabernacle officiating.  Owners and employees of Elberta Crate and Box will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer 200 W. 10th Street Donalsonville, GA 39845 or the cancer center of your choice in Jeff’s memory.

Mr. Weaver was born in Bainbridge, GA on November 8, 1965, to Ben Weaver and Maxie White Weaver.  Jeff worked with Elberta Crate and Box Company for 38 years and was the plant manager. He loved to fish and spend time on the water, his favorite places being Lake Seminole and St. George Island.  Jeff was an avid Georgia fan, he loved his GA BULLDAWGS!!

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Beverly Weaver of Donalsonville, GA; his daughters, Allison Hatchman and Ray of Crawfordville, FL and Danielle Barber of Donalsonville, GA; his mother, Maxie Bailey and her husband Jimmy of Bainbridge, GA; his bonus mom, Cheryl Weaver of Baconton, GA; and his sister, Regina King (Jimmy Barron) of Ochlocknee, GA.  Jeff is also survived by his inlaws, Charles and Kathleen Ray of Colquitt, GA; his brother-in-law, Tim Ray and Kelly of Bainbridge, GA,, his sister-in-law, Tammy Heard and Jerry of Damascus, GA; his grandchildren, Hilton Newsome, Trent Johnson, and Lex Johnson; as well as several nephews and nieces.

Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his father, Ben Weaver, as well as a sister, Melissa Donley.

The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Georgia Hospice Care, namely Karen Rogerson, Kelly Haire, Sandra Haire, Holly Casper, and Chaplain Samantha Lightfoot, as well as to Centerwell Home Health, namely Kristie Hinton and April Lynn.
