The senior Bainbridge Ladycat basketball players were honored after their game against Early County Tuesday night. The team has four seniors, and Ladycats head coach Danny Evans said he’s enjoyed working with a “very coachable” group of girls.

Jinasia Barnes

Jinasia Barnes has played varsity basketball for the Lady Cats for one year. After graduation, Barnes plans to attend college.

“She’s a great defensive player,” Evans said. “She gets about two-three balls a game. That’s good for high school, especially high school girls.”

Ninti Jeffery has played varsity basketball for the Lady Cats for three years. After graduation, Jeffey plans to attend college to pursue a career as a forensic psychologist.

“She’s very very tough,” Evans said. “She gets in there with girls bigger than her and taller than her, and she gets in there and scraps with them. She’s very dependable.”

Amari Kimble

Amari Kimble has played varsity basketball for the Lady Cats for four years. After graduation, Kimble plans to attend college, pursue a career in healthcare, and obtain her real estate license.

“She’s steady,” Evans said. “Very very intelligent… She’s a strong rebounder, and she’s played great defense.”

Miyah Sanaa Williams

Miyah Sanaa Williams has played varsity basketball for the Lady Cats for four years. After graduation, Williams plans to attend Fort Valley State University and become a registered nurse. She also plans to continue being a lash technician.

“She’s been in the program since she was in middle school,” Evans said. “I’ve had her for the last two years… her game has evolved from the first time I’ve seen her up to now.”
