Mrs. Tonya Welch, our only “Early Childhood Education ‘’ teacher here at Bainbridge High School, has been nominated for the Georgia Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher of the Year award. Ms Welch will attend the 2024 GATFACS winners conference on January 24th, 25th, and 26th. Welch says she is so excited about the conference and is very grateful to receive the opportunity. Since she is the only ECE teacher here at Bainbridge High, she has really had to “step up her game”. Since Ms Welch is taking Industry Certification, she takes her students on all sorts of field trips encouraging them to engage in creativity.
