Despite the dreary weather on Friday, plenty turned out to participate in Memorial Hospital and Manor’s Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament at the Bainbridge Country Club. The event serves as a fundraiser for capital and equipment items at the hospital. Dozens of local agencies donated to the event, which Memorial Director of Development Jamie Sinko said was appreciated. Out of all the teams to take hit the green, the team of Chad Knight and Hilton Lane ultimately won. Additionally, teams could launch their balls from an air cannon on the first hole. “We were happy with the turn-out,” Sinko said. The Hospital tentatively plans to host a gala as a fundraiser next year.
