Pamela was known for her persistence and “overcomer” attitude. She was born with cerebral palsy and fought from day one. As a Navy junior, she was quick to share in other cultures from foreign ports to Hawaii before it was recognized as a state. Pamela was a music lover and frequented museums with her favorite being the Smithsonian Mall. She enjoyed crocheting and sharing her projects with friends and family. Her strong faith, sense of humor, and natural attraction to others laid the groundwork for friendships with anyone she met.
Survivors include her daughter, Onamarie Cooper; her grandchild, Miley Mae; and her siblings, Deborah Lynch (Jerry) and Tia Rayl (Edward). Pamela was preceded in death by her parents.
Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, is assisting the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
