Traffic at the intersection of Highway 27 and Bethel Road found itself delayed early Thursday morning when tragedy struck: a car attempting to cross at the intersection was struck by a school bus, resulting in a fatality. As the school bus was a commercial vehicle being used by migrant workers, the investigation has been turned over from local authorities to Georgia State Patrol. The incident is still under investigation by Georgia State Patrol.
