With the school year ending and graduation this weekend, several Bearcat athletes are signing with colleges this week. Senior Dax Willis signed with Thomasville University for their soccer program early Monday morning, joined by his teammates and Coach Brian Hill.

When asked what went into choosing Thomasville, Willis said part of the reasoning was how close to home it was. As for the school’s soccer program, he said, “They have a really good soccer program compared to a lot of schools around here.”

Coach Hill spoke with the Post-Searchlight about Willis’s performance, saying, “We had a good year this year, and he was a big reason for that. We had the most shutouts this year, and being a goalie is a big part of that.”

Willis concluded by thanking one of his old coaches: “I’d like to thank my late Coach Hermann, he made me who I am now.”
