Flint River Fair has arrived for its 2022 Fall stint at the Earle May Boat Basin in Bainbridge. Hosted by The Chamber of Commerce, the crowd steadily trickled in on Tuesday night as event goers looked to take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free incentive on Unlimited Ride Wristbands.

In previous years, organizers have reported attendance over 12,000 people, raising more the $40,000 for the Chamber of Commerce to reinvest in the community. While the fair has been a well-established tradition for the city of Bainbridge for many years, it moved to the Boat Basin about eight years ago, allowing ample space for the event to grow in response to positive year-over-year support.

2022 Fairground attractions range from the gentle to down-right-scary, and there are plenty of options for supper if you’re in the mood for a classic carnival supper, such as corn dogs, funnel cakes, and buckets-o-fries.

The fair’s final day will be Saturday, October 8, and be open from 12 pm to 12 pm, with different attractions, such as a hot dog eating contest and individually priced helicopter rides happening throughout the day. For more information, visit bainbridgechamber.com or

Admission is $5, payable in cash only per person at the gate; children aged three or younger are free. Ride tickets are available individually, or Unlimited Ride Armbands can be purchased for $30 at the event, or online at innovativeticketing.com ahead of time for $25 each.
