Quick wit, smart mouth, comments and opinions about EVERYTHING. Politics but not politically correct. Bail bondsman but couldn’t seem to stay out of Facebook jail. The Pawn Shop. Georgia Bulldogs. Watches & coins. Winning big. Finding a bargain. The River. The “ride”, especially the Bronco. The chuckle. The smirk. Selfies & memes. His “girls”. Nicholas finally giving him a second vote. Family, friends, food. Mama’s boy. If you know, you know.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Beverly Atkinson Shirley; his children, Madelyn Shirley, Emma Ryan Shirley, and Nicholas & Taylor Knight; his granddaughter, Mary Ella; his father, Claude W. Shirley, Jr.; his brother, Russell Shirley; and a large extended family. Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Elizabeth “Sally” Lynn Shirley.
