Bernice Stubbs Thaxton age 68, of Bowersville, Georgia, entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Christian Worship Assembly Church, 3874 Royston Highway Hartwell, Georgia.

Interment will follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 110 Union Hill Church Road Bowersville, Georgia.

Mrs. Thaxton will be placed in the church at 2:00 pm, an hour before the service.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th & Friday, August 12th from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm, at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Hartwell Chapel.

Survivors include her children: Sydney Thaxton, Jae Thaxton, and Addie Thaxton; brothers: Cleo Stubbs, Robert Stubbs, Abraham, and Jeremiah Stubbs; sister: Mary Frances Stubbs, Annie Rose Corcoran, and Lynda Subbs Talley; 1 grandchild: Elijah Braves Thaxton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
