Harold Dewayne Rentz was born September 2, 1965, in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Thurman & Margie Cloud Rentz. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and worked as an industrial electrician with Metro Power. Hal was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Hal was a “good ol’ boy” who enjoyed a simple life. He worked hard and played hard. He was often the life of the party and kept the dance floor hot. Fishing, fish frys, and FSU sports filled his spare time. Hal was a workaholic and especially enjoyed his “second job”, farming the land.

Survivors include his siblings, Karen Lynn Rentz, Tami Barineau, Tracy (Daryl) Smith, and Stacey (Robbie) Daughtry all of Bainbridge; and a host of extended family. In addition to his parents, Hal was preceded in death by his sister, Karla Fletcher.

Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, is assisting the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
