Mr. Jack Edward Jones passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at his home in Donalsonville, Georgia. Services for Mr. Jones will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Evangelist Charles Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Jack Edward Jones was born November 21, 1950, in Bainbridge, Georgia to James Williams Enoch Jones and Myrtice Pearl Bailey Jones. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jack loved to fish and very much enjoyed video games. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He deeply loved his family and loved spending time with them. Jack loved to listen to old gospel music and vintage bluegrass. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Jack Edward Jones is survived by his sisters, Brenda Gilbert and Sue Myers of Bainbridge, Shirley Cook (Elton Cromer) of Lake Seminole, Georgia, and Virginia (Polly) Phillips of Orlando, Florida; his brother, Lee Jones of Bainbridge; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many great-nieces and great-nephews.
