Lunette A. Boyett, age 85, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia.  Services for Mrs. Boyett will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home.  Rev. Joshua Boyett and Rev. Darrell Newberry will officiate.  The service will conclude at the chapel.  Mrs. Boyett will be buried beside her husband in Brinson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Lunette Adams was born September 24, 1936, in Cairo, Georgia.  She married Arthur Lee Boyett who preceded her in death.  She and Arthur had a happy, Christian home and raised 3 children together.  They lived a simple life, full of love and joy.  The most important thing in Lunette’s life was her salvation.  Lunette was a member of Highway Freewill Baptist Church.  Lunette loved to sing.  Lunette was a happy person who stayed active and loved to laugh.  She loved her family deeply and loved taking care of them.  After church everyone was expected to join her for lunch on Sunday.  Every Sunday was a feast.  Lunette Boyett will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Lunette Boyett is survived by her children, Lee Boyett (Cowboy) and wife, Tina of Bainbridge, Rudolph Boyett and wife, Belinda of Hahira, Georgia, and Reba Mobley of Bainbridge; her sisters, Mary, Bernice, and Mildred; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Adams and Ethel Leona Rayfield Adams; husband, Arthur Lee Boyett; 3 granddaughters; and son-in-law, Tommy Mobley.
