Eddie E. Lambert, 77, passed away December 7, 2021, following a brief illness.
Private Graveside services will be held at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. The Reverend James Scarborough will officiate.
Mr. Lambert, a native of Cairo, Georgia, was the son of the late Ruth and Odes Lambert. He graduated from Climax High School. He graduated from South Georgia Technical College where he studied diesel mechanics. He proudly served with the United States Air Force as a mechanic, working on airplanes during the Vietnam War, mainly serving in Germany. Eddie enjoyed helping people with their cars, lawnmowers, etc. after retiring. He also liked to plant fruit trees and plants.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gail H. Lambert; four children, Johnny Lambert (Suzanne), Glenda Faulkner (Grant), Andy Lambert (Karey), Jeffrey Lambert (Tonya); two brothers, Dennis Lambert (Susan) and Wayne Lambert; one sister, Sandra Pulsifer (David); nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
