Harry Justus, 93, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away at his home Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Harry was born March 16, 1928, in Holcombe, Wisconsin, the son of Gottfried Justus and Helena Krutsch Justus. He grew up on the Flambeau River in a farmhouse. He graduated grammar school from a one room schoolhouse in Holcombe and was a graduate from Ladysmith High School. Harry left for Chicago after working his school years on the family farm; raising milk cows and growing grain. In Chicago, he delivered beer to the bars. Harry owned a parking lot, a gas station/car wash, raised worms, and invented a nightcrawler separating machine. Harry finally settled into repairing and replacing radiators for airline trucks and cars. Then, at 60, he retired, played golf, enjoyed fishing and throwing darts.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Donna Jean Justus of Bainbridge, Ga.; his daughter, Rhonda Krautheim (Lenny) of Ormond Beach, Fla.; his granddaughter, Starla Penela (Frank) of Bainbridge, Ga.; his great-granddaughter, Olivia Penela; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Justus; and his siblings, Dorothea, David, Amelia, John, Alexander, Emma, and Helen Mae.
