Brandy Nicole Cook, age 39, of Clarksville, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at her residence. Brandy was born June 2, 1982, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Vernon Lee Ritter and Deloris King Ritter of Bainbridge. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and furthered her education and became an occupational therapy assistant. She most recently worked with Ahava Healthcare in Clarksville for eight years, until her health no longer permitted her to work. She attended the Bridge Church and the Mosaic Church. Brandy loved God and was a caring person who enjoyed helping others through her work. Brandy was an animal lover and enjoyed her vacations, especially to the beach.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents and her husband, Barry James Cook of Clarksville. Also surviving are her sisters, Tabitha Ritter of Bainbridge, Leah Eubanks of Cairo, Ga., and Penny Evans of Stanford, Maine. She is survived by her step-son, Travis Cook and step-daughters, Mercedes Cook, and Kelsey Cook. Brandy is preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Ritter.
Funeral services for Brandy were conducted on Sunday October 10, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home, Clarksville, Tennessee, with Pastor Chad Rowland officiating. Visitation was on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home.
A graveside service and interment was held Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bainbridge, Ga. On-line condolences may be sent at www.Coxfuneral.net. Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
